Seniors Program

The Seniors Program is for athletes aged 13–17 (Grade 8-12), no prior experience required. Seniors compete in both BCWA Club events and BCSS high school competitions. Through the Cowichan Valley partnership, all senior athletes from Cowichan Valley teams train together, creating a high-level collaborative environment.

What Athletes Will Learn:

  • Advanced wrestling techniques and tactical strategies

  • Strength, endurance, agility, and conditioning

  • Mental preparation, goal-setting, and competition strategy

  • Weight management, nutrition, and recovery

  • Leadership skills and mentorship

  • Team collaboration through Cowichan Valley unified practices
     

Training Experience:

Structured sessions combining drills, live wrestling, and team exercises. Coaches provide individualized guidance, and athletes gain exposure to diverse wrestling styles across the Cowichan Valley.
 

Competition:​

  • BCWA Club tournaments

  • BCSS high school competitions

Sessions

  • 2026 Season - October to March

    • Tuesdays - 6:30 – 8:00 PM

    • Wednesdays - 5:30 - 7:00PM

    • Thursdays - 6:30 – 8:00 PM
